Our youth program is blessed by an abundance of musically talented volunteers who serve
under the leadership of Linda Collins.
This ministry is involved in many areas of our program, including:
Music during Sacred Circle and Various Lessons
Each Sunday, the children and teens open their session by participating in their own Sacred Circle. The
Youth Music Ministry leads a music activity with them every Sunday during this time. In addition, musical
activities are often a part of the lesson, when deemed appropriate. Instruments played with the children
include dulcimer, guitar, drums and other percussion instruments.
Youth Choir
Unity Eastside’s Youth Choir meets every Sunday at 10:15 a.m., before the service, in the Children's House.
(During this time parents can browse the bookstore, fellowship with other parents and adults,
walk the grounds, or meditate.) Choir members have lots of fun learning and acting out songs that reflect
our Unity principles. They also learn vocal warm-ups, breathing exercises and basic music theory. The
Youth Choir sings periodically at Sunday services and other special events.
